Optional measurement and public contact

Privacy and analytics notice

The site works without analytics. You decide whether optional measurement tools may load, and you can change that choice from any page.

Analytics are optional

On a first visit, the site asks whether optional analytics may load. If you continue without analytics, the site does not load Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity. Pages, downloads, public contact links, publication records, and external links remain available.

The choice is stored in this browser under iva_analytics_consent. It is not a site account and does not follow you to another browser or device. Use the Analytics choices control in the footer to review or change it.

What accepted analytics measure

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 may measure page visits, referral sources, links to IVA and the research portal, publication opens, profile opens, resource downloads, and email or phone contact starts. The site does not use analytics to make eligibility, employment, credit, health, or service decisions.

Microsoft Clarity is configured for this personal site and loads only after analytics are accepted. It may provide aggregate interaction maps and session recordings that help identify navigation, readability, and page-use problems.

Changing or denying consent

A denied choice prevents analytics tags from loading on a fresh page view. If you revoke a previous acceptance, the site sends denied consent updates to any loaded provider, stops its own measurement events, and keeps the denied choice for later page views.

Google advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain denied even when site analytics are accepted. Clarity uses Microsoft's current ConsentV2 interface with analytics storage granted only after acceptance and advertising storage denied.

Contact and external services

The personal site does not contain a contact form. Email and phone links open the application you choose. Messages, calls, bookings, payments, subscriptions, DOI records, social profiles, and other external destinations are handled by the corresponding provider under its own terms and privacy practices.

Do not send passwords, payment-card data, health records, personnel files, privileged communications, or regulated source material through an ordinary first-contact email. IVA provides separate transfer instructions when protected source records are required for accepted work.
